Gobble ~ Gobble

A modern twist to the Thanksgiving hand turkey! My daughter and I made this tonight and we had so much fun! I'm in awe of how it turned out and I can't wait for her to show it off to our family on Thanksgiving! Woohoo! We used the tutorial from Treasures For Tots as our guide.

Vintage Labels

Upcycle some cans with vintage labels to create some very pretty vases! Papier Valise has a nice tutorial and this Flickr Set has an incredible array of labels. I'm planning way ahead and already thinking of a great Father's Day project using the Dad's Rootbeer label.

Snowman Kit: Just Add Snow

I'm a California girl through and through (only touching snow twice in my life!). So I'm always envious when friends and family send holiday photos playing the snow.

Wouldn't this snowman kit be a cute gift for a child who will be building his/hers first snowman? And it can be re-used for years to come. Details at Make It Do

Printable Thanksgiving Collection

Last night the husband asked me if this year we could host Thanksgiving at our home. I took a deep breathe and softly mumbled "yes, of course". Then my mind started running wild with a bazillion (yes that many!) ideas. Food? Decorations? Where to fit everyone? Oh boy!

Fortunately, the wonderful people over at Paper & Cake are celebrating their one year anniversary with a printable Thanksgiving collection. The collection includes menu, place cards, favor box, invitation, recipe card and more! Available at Tangarang.
